Start-to-Finish Project Management
I’ve led projects from conception through to delivery, managing teams of 20+ colleagues and contractors while ensuring alignment with organisational policies, funding objectives, and community needs.
With Cook24 – Coleg Sir Gar, I prioritised strong stakeholder engagement and collaboration, delivering high-impact outcomes that reached over 1,500 participants in 12 months.
Getting Things Up and Running
At Cegin y Bobl, as the sole employee during the first six months of the set-up period, I designed and implemented systems to streamline day-to-day operations — from budget management and delivery logistics to data collection and HR processes, including onboarding and review systems. Alongside this, I managed multiple grant-funded youth education and public sector projects across health, education, and catering, laying strong foundations for efficient delivery and long-term sustainability.
Small-Scale & Short-Term Support
I also provide targeted, short-term support when you need an extra pair of hands or a fresh perspective.
This has included voluntary trustee work with Llanelli Railway Goods Shed Trust, advising on hospitality operations, income generation, financial planning, and organisational systems; an advisory role with the Institute of Development Studies supporting the DISHED project; as well as ad-hoc advisory support around business planning and running catering events for Ele’s Little Kitchen.
In the past few years Katy has been an essential part of turning ambitious and enterprising projects that I have been involved with, like Cook24 and Cegin Y Bobl, into a reality. She brings impressive levels of energy, organisation and creativity. Throughout her work she has quickly acquired a knowledge of social action and the third sector landscape that is testament to her ability to rapidly assimilate information and new skills.
